Refugee Gamers started in a few hearts and minds in late 2002. Our primary gaming community had shut down and thus we grouped together in an effort to keep things going. Our strong commitment to a hacker free, abuse free gaming environment certainly was hard to find on the net. The community we loved did come back online, and for a few months all was well in our worlds again, until...

Unfortunately with virtually no notice we found ourselves once again with no place to call home. We banded together for the second time in a place we dubbed "The Refugee Camp". Soon we started referring to ourselves in-game as Refugees, and the name just stuck. Not wishing to lose the community, and friends we had enjoyed; a core of talented people pooled resources to build Refugee Gamers.

Our hope has always been to appeal to gamers that believe in the same core principles we do. If your a wayward gamer seeking a hacker free, fair, and fun community look no further. When possible we will support games directly with dedicated gaming servers for you to enjoy. For massively-mulitplayer games we will have message forums and voice servers for our members to use. Our goal is to support in-game coordinated efforts for guilds sponsered by rG.
